BECOME A MEMBER - Join us in making an impact in the community

In the spring of 2008, a group of women began to discuss ways that they could make a difference in the community through their joint philanthropy. In October 2008, Hand to Hand was established as a charitable fund at Coastal Community Foundation. Nineteen women joined as founders. By 2026, the Giving Circle has grown to over 100 members.

We offer two types of memberships: A Voting Member of the Giving Circle and A Friend of Hand to Hand, who contribute at any level.

An annual Voting Membership is given to women who contribute $700 to the Hand to Hand Fund. This contribution amount is periodically reviewed and adjusted by vote of membership. Each member must sign the Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Policy forms. Additional money may be contributed, in fact, additional contributions are encouraged. This information remains confidential.

We accept contributions from others outside of our Giving Circle. Friends of Hand to Hand can contribute at any level. Friends DO NOT retain voting rights.
